Car accident-medical bill relief for Pierce Family
My sister Baili Pierce and three other passengers were tragically struck head on by an impaired driver on Thursday night June 24, 2021. The driver was under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
Baili was taken to OU Trauma ICU and has undergone an 8 hour surgery to repair multiple breaks in her leg, ankle and wrist and still has another surgery needed on her knee and are still watching her spleen.
Baili is a wife and a mom who works to support her and her family. Her husband has been by her side since he got the call.
She has a long road to a full recovery ahead of her and as you can imagine, the medical bills will start to knock on her door even before any financial relief can come from the guy who hit them insurance company, if any. Not to mention lost wages for both Baili and her husband, Connor, for the days ahead spent in the hospital, physical therapy and any other appointments or surgeries that will come of this.
The other three passengers in the car were Madicyn, Norman and Bo.
Madicyn tragically lost her life, Norman is at home grieving and recovering, and Bo is still in the hospital with multiple injuries.
