Car for Promises of Hope

We have reached our goal! A significant donation submitted directly to Mission Gate brings our total to $8,000. We can now purchase a car for Promises of Hope. Thanks to all who donated and who helped spread the word!

Snow is beautiful, but it can cause deadly traffic accidents. 
In early February, Vickey, a staff member at Promises of Hope Ranch, was driving this car when she hit a slick spot that sent her spinning off the road. The car flipped, spun, and slammed into a utility pole, wrapping around it. Miraculously, Vickey sustained only minor injuries from the seatbelt restraint. Praise God for protecting her.

As you can see, the car was totaled, a huge loss for Promises of Hope. That car was essential to get residents to jobs, medical and court appointments, and church activities. 

Promises of Hope, one of several ranch residences for men and women just out of prison or rehab, is part of Mission Gate Prison Ministry.  I'm a big fan of this organization, known for its high success rate in turning lives from crime to Christ. Today I'd like to ask for your help.
