Car For Carla

My name is Carla Underwood, and I am a student activist and community organizer in Detroit. I have been heavily involved in my community for almost four years now, and just recently I have come across some troubles with getting back and forth to school. During this past school year, I moved away from South West Detroit, which is where my school is located and into North West Detroit. My mother was unable to drive me to school because of work, so I had to catch the bus to school, and anyone who lives in Detroit knows that the bus system isn't quite the most reliable in Detroit, so I was late to class... a lot.
I am asking anyone who has anything to give to help me raise money to be able to afford a car. Education means a lot to me and this past school year I missed a lot of it. I will be immensely grateful for any donation I receive. Thank You.
