Car Repair Help For Working, Student, Single Mom
Donation protected
Hi I'm Kaummajuk, and this is my friend Heather…
She’s a student, works two jobs, feeds her community, and helps facilitate community dialogue like Tipi Talks in Morley AB, where she helped organize a women’s gathering and works with reconciliation action groups. Heather donates all her extra time and resources whenever she can to her community.
Heather does all this while raising four great children (15,14, 7 & 6)
You can imagine the driving a working, student, single mother must have to do to make her days work.
Heather's car broke down…
and the bill is more than Heather can pay, she also needs winter tires and until the 15th of this month, Heather didn’t know if she was getting evicted. Thankfully, they extended her lease so she has a place to stay, but her rent is 500.00 extra a month now.
Heather has done so much for her community, let’s show her some support back.
I’m asking you to donate what you can to help Heather and her children maintain their car, a home, stability and autonomy, with a bright future ahead.
Without this help, Heather faces a serious threat of eviction, job loss, and the possibility of not finishing her diploma.
Please consider donating.
