Cara’s medical and living expenses when recovering

Hi,

My name is Sarah DeArman. I am Cara's sister in law. (more like big sister) Cara had some unexpected news and is now battling breast cancer. The surgeon is recommending a double mastectomy with reconstruction. These surgeries will be performed at the same time. The recovery is at least 6 weeks for the first surgery. She has also confirmed the doctors require a 2nd surgery in the future to complete reconstruction . This will also be a 6 week recovery. As a new teacher for a new district her time off will not be covered by FMLA. After the 15 days she has are gone, she will get docked pay. 

 As we all know life can be stressful, but we can take part of that burden from Cara with this gofundme page. 100% of your gifts will be used for medical bills and keeping her house bills paid; rent, electric, water etc... She is a single mom raising a wonderful and sweet teenage daughter named Hayden. Hayden is a freshman this year at Martin High School. She is a volleyball player and also does field events in track. She plays volleyball for her high school and also plays club volleyball for the Texas Pistols in Rhome, Texas. If you are familiar with club sports, you know there are traveling expenses and fees involved. We hope to keep life as normal as possible for Hayden and Cara. Cara took a new teaching job this year. She is teaching 5th grade English at Arlington Classics Academy. What a wonderful place for her to be❤️She pours her heart and soul into her students each year and leads them with love and a selfless heart.
