Cara Grant Medical & Funeral Fund

UPDATE: Cara left this world for heaven on February 26th, 2024. If you feel led to give further to support Chris & family financially during this time, this fundraiser remains open.

As many of you know, Cara Grant has been in the hospital for a couple of weeks battling a severe case of pancreatitis. What was expected to be a simple procedure with discharge the following day, unexpectedly set off a chain of events leading to severe pancreatitis, acute kidney injury, sepsis, and several days in the ICU. She’s now out of the ICU, but will need to remain in the hospital for several more days despite having already been admitted for almost 2 weeks. Pancreatitis is a rough illness and takes a lot of time to recover from. Even after she is stable for discharge from the hospital, it’s expected that it will take another couple of weeks before she is well enough to resume regular activities.

As we know, healthcare is expensive. Additionally, Cara has used up all of her PTO over the past 2 weeks while hospitalized. This fundraiser is to help raise money to assist with the overwhelming cost of medical bills and day-to-day living while they await full recovery and her ability to return to work.
