Cara & Mary: Invited to Serve in 2023

When I asked Jesus if Cara and I should go to El Salvador this summer he said, “I’d be so delighted to watch you serve there.” When Cara asked if she should go to Guatemala in March, again his answer was ‘YES!’ So 2023 will be a year of serving for us! Cara is excited to serve with other students from our school in Guatemala the last week of March. They’ll be hosting a week-long VBS for the children there & sharing the love of Jesus. Together, we are so excited for the opportunity to serve alongside some of our dearest friends July 1st - 9th in La Libertad, El Salvador. We’ll be involved in a few projects while we’re there including making/delivering beds, children’s ministry & talking about Jesus. It will be truly divine. We’ve both been on a journey of spiritual growth this year that has rejected religion and said yes to Jesus and his deep love for us. We cannot wait to share the Jesus we now know with others! While this is a financial fundraiser we’re also asking for prayer partners! Would you please consider commiting to praying us through these trips? Please pray for health, safety and unity for each team. Please also be praying for the people in El Salvador & Guatemala that they’ll receive Jesus. To cover the cost of all 3 trips we need a total of $5000 (I’ve updated our total need as of today June 23 due to donations that have come in elsewhere). Any extra funds received will go toward mission projects while we’re there or to help cover the cost of another team member who struggles to raise funds. 100% will be used solely for these trips.
