Carabiner Collections, Inc. is an LGBTQIA+ community-run library serving the Brazos Valley of Texas. We want to create the opportunity for all people to see themselves in stories to imagine the bright futures that are possible and for non-LGBTQIA+ people to learn how to be better allies.
With your donations we obtained 501(c)3 status in November 2024. And you helped us get a website (carabinercollections.org)! We have also created a booth to display and check out books at Bryan First Friday. Other community events are also welcome to request us to bring the library. For people who can not attend these events due to logistics or not feeling comfortable being seen at an LGBTQIA+ booth, we have a book holds locker and book drop box all around town. Holds will be requested discretely via our website.
Funds raised will be used to cover ongoing yearly operating costs including:

- Various Merchandise Supplies: $100.00
- TinyCat Library Catalogue (1 year subscription): $36.00
- Website (1 year subscription): $296.00
- Storage Unit (1 year subscription): $348.00
- UPS Mailbox (1 year subscription): $240.00
- Additional Books (to replace lost/damaged books): $100.00+
