Cara’s Total Warrior Run for Ashgate Hospice
On 23rd June 2024, I will be running the Total Warrior 6k Course to raise money for Ashgate Hospice.
Total Warrior is a unique event which offers you the chance to test your all round fitness and mental determination over different length courses including a 12k, 6k, 3k and an Ultra 5 hour event. You have to overcome rugged terrain and around 20 specially designed obstacles using teamwork, endurance and stamina to succeed.
Ashgate Hospice is an independent charity that cares for patients with a life-limiting illness and their families across North Derbyshire. They provide compassionate palliative and end-of-life care free of charge to people aged 18 and over. While their purpose is to provide end-of-life care, their work doesn’t only begin at the very end of someone’s life – they strive to improve quality of life soon after a terminal diagnosis.
