On Sunday, February 19, 2017, severe storms impacted the San Antonio and Austin areas.  As a result of these storms, Rene Cardenas' home took a direct lightning hit causing a major fire.  Most of the family's belongings were lost completely or ruined by the fire and water.  Belongings can be replaced, however, the most important thing is that everyone is safe.  Rene is a very generous and kind person, and would give the shirt off of his back to a person in need--even if that shirt was the only item he owned.  Now the Cardenas family must start the process of rebuilding and have to replace most everything.  Total costs are estimated well in excess of $50,000, excluding the damage to the home, which was severely damaged.  The family also has to relocate to a hotel or temporary housing which adds to the expenses.  Please join us in helping raise funds to provide the Cardenas family a good start to the rebuilding process.  Your genoristy is greatly appreciated by all who know and love Rene and his family.
