Care Experienced Spoken Word Album

Hi there,

My name is Katie and I am the Director and Co-Founder of Avocados Advocacy, a care experienced led legal advocacy service and independent community for anyone with experience of the care system.

During this time of growth within my organisation, I have been privileged to be part of so many people's stories and journeys.

This has made me want to share mine.

TWENTY EIGHT will be my Spoken Word album sharing my journey of life so far; connecting with the parts of myself that deserve to be heard and come into the light. Hopefully giving hope and inspiration to other care experienced people out there.

I am asking for £5,000 because although the music and lyrics will be created and recorded by me, I would like to have it professionally put together at a studio with the help of a producer and to have some accompanying music videos filmed.

Once finished - it will be available on all music platforms, including Youtube.
