We are reaching out because over the last few years our grandparents have been struggling. Our Papa has been declining rapidly initially with dementia which transitioned into Alzheimer’s. Since the decline they have made huge adjustments such as selling their long time home and downsized.However, even with those adjustments it hasn’t been enough. With frequent hospital stays and endless medical bills it is long overdue that he goes into a full time facility. Yet, even though they have worked their entire lives and taken care of countless children through their daycare and later in life Papa served the countless students at La Reina High School as a beloved security guard their efforts aren’t enough to pay for the care that he needs. Grandma is his 24 hour nurse and despite her best efforts she can no longer keep up with the attention and care he needs. As granddaughters of the two best grandparents we are reaching out for your love and support to help our grandparents and get our Papa into a care facility. Any amount of kindness and generosity would be greatly appreciated.
