Care for Callahan
Donation protected
This GoFundMe was created for Callahan's parents by family and friends. ***Out of respect for the family, please do not share on Social Media. Britt and JP feel like they are already so blessed because Callahan is still with us.***
Callahan has had a long road. She was born at just 24 weeks and weighed only 1.2 pounds. She spent 145 days in the NICU in Greenville, SC before finally getting to go home. She experience 10 loving weeks in the arms of her parents and surrounded by the giggles of her Big Brother Deacon (3).
A little over a week ago Callahan took a turn for the worse. She was airlifted to MUSC Children's Hospital in Charleston, SC on 12/8/20. The Doctors and nurses are working around the clock to figure out what's going on with Callahan and to make sure she can go back home to her family.
The Gillis' are blessed with an incredible support system but there may be some unexpected costs that come up for baby Callahan that insurance won't cover - e.g. The Helicopter Transfer.
We have started this GoFundMe to help support them with those costs.
All excess funds that are not used for medical expenses will be donated to a NICU family in need or back to the Children's Hospital.
