Care for Carla Martin

Hello everyone,

I want to introduce you to a crazy amazing woman who was just diagnosed with Follicular lymphoma non-Hodgkin’s B cell grade 1 to 2 from groin biopsy, stage 3 to 4 not doing bone marrow test because it’s treated the same. They are treating it as aggressive lymphoma as it came on quickly and spread fast.

These diagnoses came as a shock and surprise as she is such a healthy person. Carla has a house to maintain, and pets. Carla is normally the one to take care of others; she is a fantastic mom and it has been my privilege to call her friend for 24years. Carla has taken care of me in the last 24 years many times and now it's our turn to take care of her.

Carla went to the ER with severe abdominal pain, was admitted while they ran tests for 2 weeks and was diagnosed with the Follicular Lymphoma. It was a grueling 2 weeks and has since then started treatment that is very difficult and has lost her hair after the first treatment.

As I told you before she is a force to be reckoned with, and will fight very hard.

We are asking for help for caring for Carla, paying the medical bills that have already started piling up. She has a long battle ahead of her and believe when I say Carla will work when she can; but there is no way she can keep up with all that is to come.

Carla lost her husband and love of her life 22 years ago to cancer, she raised her family on her own and now finds herself staring cancer in the face again.

We are asking for any support you are able to provide. Be it a kind donation to assist with medical bills, help with yard work, prayers to put this cancer in it's place so she and her children keep moving forward. Prayers for courage and strength are also appreciated.
