Care for Children after Quitina Simmons death

Hello to all,

I’m Debra the mother of Quitina Simmons with a sad heart I am announcing

Quitina Simmons on Oct 10, 2022 she suddenly passed away.

Losing a loved one is never easy and all the preparation in the world is never enough. Our hearts are saddened by the loss of our daughter who was a mother, our sister, and our friend Quitina Simmons.

As a child there’s no greater superhero than, “mom.” Quitina leaves behind a legacy of lives: Harrison 12, Maggie 8, Angel 19, and Jamel 24 who are all filled not only with the emotional pain and stress that losing a mother brings but also a financial strain that all too often we as children never witness because “mom’s got it.”

It is in times of sadness and loss when God’s children come together - this time is no different. Any support you may be able to provide at this time is beyond appreciated. Please keep Quitina children and family in your thoughts and prayers.

My family and I deeply appreciate your thoughts and prayers as we navigate my daughter's sudden and ultimately passing.
