Care for Maggies beloved daughter Emmy Sue

Donation protected
On October 2nd, the day after she celebrated her twin brother’s wedding while surrounded by loving family and friends, Maggie and her boyfriend Jimmy were tragically killed when a deer jumped in front of their motorcycle.

The loss is indescribable. In a testament to her heroic character, Maggie was an organ donor and her passing has saved the lives of several others. Maggie’s petite stature and twinkling, ever-present smile belied her profoundly deep strength and determination.

In addition to being a trusted and true sister, a kind and caring cousin, a fervently loyal daughter and a passionate friend, Maggie was a fierce warrior for her daughter Emersyn.

Emmy has a rare disease called San Filipo that will take her from us, far too soon. Because it is a degenerative disease, Emmy’s needs continue to grow with time. Maggie was Emmy’s primary care provider and advocate. Her life was dedicated to her beloved kiddo. Truly, Maggie did the work of five people and she is literally irreplaceable. Her family now needs to try to find a way to fund the services, care and support that Maggie provided to Emmy 24/7. Unfortunately, these services are very expensive and the family could use our help to make sure that precious Emmy has what she needs while Maggie’s family also grieves this impossible loss.

Maggie had just gotten started on her blog www.lifewithspice.net You can see from her posts how kind, creative, and brilliant she was. Our world has truly lost so much.

We will miss you always, Maggie.
