Caring for the Conklins

Where can we possibly begin in telling you about Kate Conklin. To know her is to love her. Her smile and personality light up any room she walks into. She is the most beautiful soul any of us have ever known. She is the definition of a genuine, kind-hearted woman.

Unfortunately in April 2023, just two months shy of her 44th birthday, Kate was diagnosed with a rare form of liver cancer. She has undergone chemotherapy as well as targeted radiation, but sadly this cancer has evaded all treatment options and she is rapidly losing her battle.

For those of you that know her, you know she’s continuing to fight this with every ounce of energy in her body with family and friends by her side every step of the way.

But above all of that what brought her the greatest joy in life was being a wife and a mother to three beautiful girls; Emma (16), Claire (12), and Kayla (5). The outreach from the community has been incredible. So many of you have asked how to help them during this time of transition and grief.

The financial burden of the ongoing medical bills is an additional struggle the family should not have to bear. Any donation to help support the Conklin’s during this heart wrenching time will forever be appreciated. All donations will be given directly to Russ and his girls.
