Care Kits for Great Lakes Recovery Misson

Hello! I’m Kylee, vice president of LakeVille High School’s National Honor Society. As my senior year comes to a quick end, I want to leave my mark on our community by organizing an act of kindness for those who need it most.

Great Lakes Recovery Mission is an organization serving the substance abuse and mental health needs of Genesee County. They seek to help clients break from the cycle of addiction. Addiction is a disease that can be managed, it can be a fork in the road, not the end of the road. GLRM provides sober living housing to those in recovery from drug & alcohol addiction. With these funds, I will be putting together care packages for each resident at Great Lakes Recovery Mission. As these individuals break from the cycle of addiction, a small act of kindness can mean everything.
