Care Kits for those in need

As many of you know or don’t know Jeff and I moved a crossed country to CALIFORNIA! Yup California! The most expensive state, literally besides New York. What shocked us, was the amount of homeless people here. We’ve never seen anything like it before. You see tents on the highway as your driving to your next exit, rows and rows of tents of homeless people. This past Sunday after church, we took a large ziplock bag, a sandwich, 2 bottles of water, granola bar and some other essentials and gave it to the first homeless person we saw. We were at a light so we couldn’t speak to this guy for a long time but every car behind us ended up giving this guy named Rob something whether money or more food. Every Sunday after church our goal is to try to feed some of the homeless people we see or encounter, offer them prayer and listen to their story.  It’s been weighing on our hearts for quite some time. If you could find it in your heart to donate anything you can, even $1, we would be so grateful. Any money raised will go towards food, water, and toiletries. We just want to thank you in advance as we go on this journey.
