Help Support the Venetia Valley Food Service/Supply Distribution Partnership
It's been a hard time for all of us during quarantine, but a lot harder for some of our neighbors. When quarantine began, 80% of Venetia Valley families weren't working. Rodef Sholom partnered with Venetia Valley School to provide food and supplies to these families every Thursday. We have fed 200 families each week, and importantly, have provided necessary supplies. But we don't have enough or the right items.
That's where Nick and I (and a few friends) have been providing Safeway gift cards so that the most impacted families can get what they need: personal hygiene items, milk, tp, and other items they can't get at food pantries.
The partnership has had lots of support from local organizations (extrafood.org, Dine11, SeedReleaf, Conscious Kitchen, Panera, Marin Multi Cultural Center and Jelly Donuts) but these families are still impacted and still need our help!
Help us continue to provide these gift cards to needy families. (and if you want to help volunteer, reach out to me!)
