Cargo Van needed for Dog Rescue!

In the past year I have watched as my friend Lindy, a self proclaimed dog lover has turned her love of dogs into a passion for rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming hundreds of neglected, abused and forgotten dogs. Lindy found her way into organized rescue by volunteering her time and vehicle to transport for several non profit rescues. In this time I have seen her work countless hours traveling to communities that are up to 6 hours away -to provide food, shelters and straw bedding to those that lack these resources .

Lindy and the rescue groups she volunteers for will head out in -40 temperatures and search for dogs living in critical homeless or neglect situations, and either through surrender or rescue, transport these dogs to Saskatoon, Regina, Moose Jaw and various locations in Saskatchewan, B.C, and Alberta.The dogs are given medical care and foster homes- with the goal of making them feel safe and loved, to then be adopted to forever loving homes. Lindy along with driving 20 hour days, overnight missions, and middle of the night urgent cases also works to find foster homes, creates fundraisers and has organized charity drives such as "Fill the Pink Jeep" where she collected monetary donations and filled her jeep twice with donations for her local SPCA.

Dog rescue can be challenging and heartbreaking, being limited by the space in her vehicle or the costs of renting has impeded rescue efforts. To help provide needed cargo space for kennels,straw bales, food, and supplies, we are looking to fundraise for a safe reliable used van. This van would increase the cargo space and allow for a greater number of dogs to be rescued and provide reliable transport for immediate urgent cases.

Any donation received will be used entirely for the ongoing rescue of these animals. Lets help Lindy give these dogs a chance at life, and see these wagging tails ride into their new lives full of extra love and snuggles. All donations received will solely be used for the animals she commits to rescuing.
