In loving memory of Carina Casas.

On November 18th, 2016, Carina passed away after a short fight against cancer. Carina was an incredible young lady. She had a heart of gold. She was poised and beautiful. She had incredible courage, strength, and faith. She was humble, sweet, trustworthy, nurturing, an absolute love. Her wisdom, resilience, and fearlessness shined through her. If only I could be that brave. She was an absolute Angel and will be missed. 

I had the absolute fortune to meet the Familia Casas in 1999 - during my working days at the Fillmore Boy's and Girl's Club. The moment I met Andres, Esteban, and Carina - I was in love with them. Their little souls were just amazing. Amalia and Victor were equally remarkable. I grew to love them all very dearly and they became an extension of my family.  As time passed they grew up and became extraordinary young adults - each in their own right. 

Everyone single person that knows the Casas Family, knows that their love for each other and the love they have for other's is immeasurable. Now more than ever, they need our help and love. There are so many overwhelming costs involved in these sudden situations, so we are asking for any help that you are able to give.
