Jeffrey (JB) Scott Barbe, 30 years old, passed away peacefully on June 12, 1993 at his home in Andersonville, TN. He was born on April 13, 1993 to his loving parents Jeffrey Scott Barbe Sr., and Rachel Chagala.
JB was a remarkable young man who touched the lives of all who knew him. He had an infectious smile and a kind heart that made him beloved by his family and friends. He brought joy and laughter wherever he went and had an incredible zest for life.
From a young age, JB showed natural curiosity and a love for adventure. JB’s most precious achievement in this world was his beautiful daughter Amelia Grace Barbe. Seeing life through their eyes was what true love looked like. JB had a passion for motocross, and loved going to the track and trying to reach the clouds.
JB had a special bond with his family and cherished the time spent together. JB was a loving son, brother, and friend. JB’s high energy, compassion, and willingness to lend a helping hand endeared him to everyone. His presence was always to ensure everyone was going to have a good time. There was never a stranger when JB was in the room.
JB is survived by his devasted parents, Jeff (Stacey) Barbe, Rachel (Benito) Chagala, siblings: Ricky (Maggie) Sisler, Justine (Travis) Head, Ryan Troyer, Angelina Chagala, and Alejandro Chagala. He is also survived by his long-time partner, soul mate and best friend, Kaylee Marie Gingerich who he shared his loving daughter, Amelia. JB leaves behind grandparents: Bob and Cindy Fenton, DiDi Barbe, and Richard Sisler, and his nieces and nephews: Lia Sisler, Olivia Sisler, Anderson Head, and Beckett Head. He also leaves behind uncle and aunt, DW (Joy) Barbe, and cousins Korbin Barbe and Austin Barbe.
JB was preceded in death by his adoring grandfather, Dale Barbe. He was also preceded in death by his grandmother Louisa Miller.
JB will be forever remembered and dearly missed by his extended family, friends, and all of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. The family requests in lieu of flowers that donation be made to Kaylee Gingerich to help create a fund for his 7 year old daughter who is left without a father.
In this time of immense sorrow, we take solace in the memories we shared with JB. May his vibrant spirit and love he brought into our lives forever remain in our hearts.
