Pediatric Unit in the Philippines

Earlier this summer I spent four weeks doing a nursing internship at Western Visayas Medical Center in the Philippines.  

The experience broadened my perspective on what it means to provide quality healthcare and taught me that it is possible to create patient relationships without even speaking the same language. I would love to give back to the hospital for giving me such a wonderful experience. The money raised will be used to purchase much needed medical equipment for the pediatric unit.
