Caring for Kylie

On January 12, 2023 Kylie went to the doctor for a cough, eager to kick a cold to get back to her kids (she is a speech pathologist who dedicates her time, attention and love to all her clients), however ended up receiving news that would drastically change her life.... hearing the one word no one ever wants to hear - cancer.

For anyone that knows our family, breast cancer has been an unfortunate reality for generations. While we didn't expect this at the young age of 32, Kylie has been diagnosed with Metastatic Breast Cancer. In layman's terms, breast cancer that has spread throughout other parts of the body. Luckily, Kylie has unmatched resilience and is ready to fight!

Kylie is currently undergoing radiation treatments on her brain, and has a long road of future treatments that will include intense chemotherapy along with surgery. While we cannot take on the fight for her, we can do everything in our power to make it less stressful and help ease some of the burdens that come along with a cancer diagnosis. All donations and support will go towards helping Kylie with everything she doesn't need to be worrying about throughout this fight: deductibles, copays, treatment costs, hospital and medical expenses, lost time from work, and anything else needed to get her through this journey.
