Bridging Generations Through Christ's Love
Imagine waking up each day with no one to share a simple conversation with. For too many seniors in our community, this is a reality—and it breaks my heart. I believe God has called us to do better, to show His love through action and connection.
I started my business, Act of Service, as a way to honor God’s call to serve the community. One of my first customers, while helping trim and remove overgrown trees, shared a heartfelt comment that changed everything: She stated “I had someone to talk to, and it was really nice.” By just my presence helping her in her Garden, made her feel loved and cared for in a way she had been missing. It opened my eyes to the countless seniors living alone, longing for companionship and connection.
That’s why I’m launching Bridging Generations Through Christ's Love—a volunteer-based program designed to connect local workers and community members with elderly seniors in need of companionship, care, and support.
Through this initiative, we’ll provide:
• Friendly house calls for conversation and fellowship.
• Light assistance with daily tasks and/or errands.
• Christ-centered relationships that foster genuine connection.
• Partnerships with blue-collar companies to ensure seniors’ homes remain safe and comfortable.
• Community events and workshops to engage seniors in hobbies and social activities.
Your Support Matters
For just $25, you can sponsor a senior for a month of weekly visits and fellowship.
For $30, you’ll also receive a bracelet that proudly declares your support for this mission.
This bracelet symbolizes your commitment to honoring God’s call to serve and love one another. Together, we can build bridges of connection and hope through Christ’s love.
