Caring for Six: A Triplet Mom's Unexpected Journey

I started this go fund me for a fellow triplet mom who has suddenly found herself caring for 3 more children. I did not tell her that I started this for her, because she would never ask for help. Since raising my goal of $1,000 I let her know and she is beyond thankful and shocked that complete strangers would be so generous and caring. With her permission I have added a few pictures of the 3 boys.

A friend of hers left her abusive husband and then shortly after was tragically killed by an undercover police car. Her friend has 3 boys (2 of which are still in diapers). My triplet mom friend is now caring for these 3 boys (as well as her own 3 kids). The grandma of the boys is also helping on the weekends, but she is almost 70, retired (so living on a fixed income) and also has an adult daughter with a disability she cares for.

My triplet mom friend and the grandma have been in court trying to protect the 3 boys from going back to the abusive dad. The cost of the custody battle is estimated to cost $20,000!

I would love to raise money to help her care for these 3 boys. We all know how expensive diapers and formula are for one child, much less 2 while also financially supporting 4 other children. Not to mention the custody battle cost.

The stories she has told me about the abusive dad are just horrific. I can't imagine those 3 boys being back in his custody.
