Caring For the Cornell's

Dustin & Tabitha are very good friends of ours. Jacob has known Dustin for many, many years and it breaks our heart's that this family has been dealt so many unfortunate hands. They have 5 boys all together and they are most genuine, funny, humble, God-fearing & God-loving family you will ever meet.

Last week, on April 17th, 2023, Tabitha had to have neck surgery. It was a neck fusion where they went in through the front of her neck to remove mulitiple disks and go in through the back of her neck for a bone graph and reinforcement ( 3 day surgery plus 12 week neck brace).

Around 1am on April 26th, Tabitha went into critical condition. Her heart stopped beating for 56 minutes. The doctors have intubated her and lowered her body temp to 36° for 24 hours to avoid brain swelling & damage & she had a pulmonary embolism (blood clot from her neck surgery that passed to her lungs).

The staff is concerned about long term brain damage and keeping a close eye on her.
