Caring for the Saavedras

This fundraiser is to support the Saavedra Family. Pepe is in critical care again with no circulation in his remaining leg. This issue is creating respiratory problems among other things.

The dozens of times that Pepe faced a serious health problem, we, as a community, would turn hospital waiting rooms into social events armed with prayers and Cuban coffee. Based on his miraculous track record, we had a degree of certainty that there would always be a next time.

This time is different. The Saavedras still need your prayers, but they also need your financial support for what happens next. If another miracle is granted, the funds will be used for Pepe’s intensive post care. If God finally calls him, the funds will be used to care for Magalys who is dealing with Alzheimer’s.

The whole Saavedra family has always accompanied us in our times of need. Now is our turn to let them know how much we love them. Give generously and let’s share in their suffering by making our wallets hurt!

Queremos recaudar fondos para la familia Saavedra. Pepe esta en otra tanda de cuidado crítico. No hay circulación en su única pierna y eso está creando problemas respiratorio.

Recuerdo que en una de las docenas de veces que estaban operando ha Pepe. La sala de espera se llenó de gente tomando café cubano y orando por el. Basado en su historial, la comunidad siempre ha tenido certeza de que todo saldría bien. El Padre Tino lo comparó con el conejito de Energizer… le cambian las pilas en el hospital y Pepe sigue andando.

Esta vez es diferente. La familia sigue requiriendo tus oraciones, pero también necesitan tu aporte financiero. Si otro milagro se da, los fondos serán utilizado pare el continuo cuidado de Pepe. Si Dios se lo lleva al cielo, el dinero será usado para apoyar a Magalys y su batalla con el alemán (Alzheimer’s).

La familia Saavedra siempre nos ha acompañado en nuestros momentos de necesidad. Ahora nos toca demostrarles cuanto los queremos. Seamos generosos con nuestro apoyo financiero, y vamos a compartir en su sufrimiento comenzando con el dolor de nuestras carteras!
