Carissa Bright funeral service
Donation protected
Dear friends and family,
It deeply pains me to write this, but I am starting this page to inform you all of the unfortunate passing of our dearly beloved, Carissa Monet Bright. Carissa was the victim of gun violence. She was sitting in a vehicle and was shot by another individual in a random unknown vehicle. She did not deserve or provoke the incident whatsoever but this, unfortunately, ended her life at only 17 years old.
Carissa was a fearless, beautiful child. She was intelligent, hilarious, goofy, outspoken, and very very loving. She was incredibly supportive and uplifting. She was always there to assist her friends, family members, and even strangers if she could. Everyone loved her. She was very warm and nurturing. Carissa had a very, very "bright" spirit and I always believed her last name suited her personality well. If there was anything she could do to help others and make their day, she would do it without hesitation.
Carissa had dreams of becoming a nurse someday. Although her life was cruelly snatched away from her and she didn't get the chance to live out those dreams, she still made sure to always be a nurturing sister, a loving friend, daughter, and mentor to many. In only 17 years, she impacted the lives of so many people. Although we are saddened by her passing, we are still deeply fortunate to have been given the chance to experience life with such a beautiful soul.
All proceeds will be given to Ms. Christine, Desmon Bright and the family of Carissa for funeral arrangements. Any bit of help is deeply appreciated so that we may memorialize her in a beautiful way. 100% of funds will go towards burial services and arrangements this week.
Thank you in advance,
