Carl Bennett Bittersweet Farm Funeral Expenses
My name is Rose Edward and I am raising funds for The Bennett family to help bury my closest friend who was much like a child of my own. I mistakenly put Ann's name as organizer and can't seem to change that. But any condolences sent will get to the family as will every penny raised in this endeavor.
Thankfully, Chelle Lindahl wrote most of the following words as she is gifted and not so zombie-fied by grief as myself.
The Bennett Family at Bittersweet Farm has tragically lost a loved one, their 24 year old son Carl who passed away in Arizona. Dad (Brian) and his brother have flown there to retrieve Carl's physical body while the rest of us are left to reflect on Carl's kind and gentle spirit. If you are local and can help out with farm chores, offer calm company to Ann and Catherine, or give help any other way it will mean a lot.
Financial donations toward funeral costs, transport to and from Arizona, nursing expenses for Ann while Brian is gone, plus myriad other related expenses and losses associated with this sad time are truly appreciated. Truly whatever amount, large or small, you can share to remove another hurdle from the family to face as they bury their beautiful child is appreciated. Any amount over and above the expenses and losses with be given to charities of which Carl would have approved.
Service and burial will be Tuesday July 20, 2021 at 10 am at: Bittersweet Farm (1249 State Highway 184, Heuvelton, NY 13654)
as per Carl's wishes.
We ask that the Bennetts not be bogged down with snail mail correspondence or flowers. Donations in lieu of them is appreciated. Carl's last wish was that we all "Be Better People!" Let's give him that.
