Hi, I'm Jared Grandberry and I'm writing this on behalf of my father, Carl Grandberry. He is 63 years old and he has prostate cancer that has spread throughout his body. He is in a lot of pain and he is scared of what lies ahead.
He wants to let you know “He has no type of appetite and he cannot hold any type of food down. The doctors are actually saying that there is nothing else they can do for him because his platelets levels are so so low and it is a major risk to move on with anymore type of chemotherapy treatments. He is having multiple fainting and dizziness spells, just from walking a short distance. -cg”
Prostate cancer is the second most common cancer among men, but it can be treated if detected early. Unfortunately, my dad's cancer was not diagnosed until it was too late.
He has tried various treatments, but none of them have worked. The doctors have told him that he has only a few months left to live.
My dad is an ex - Houston Police Department officer who has dedicated his life to protecting and serving. He loves his work and his career, but he had to stop working because of his condition.
His wife is also in the medical field, but her salary is barely enough to cover our basic expenses. We have no savings left and we are drowning in debt. That is why we need your help. We are asking for your donations to help us pay for my dad's medical bills, hospice care, funeral costs, and other expenses. We are also asking for your prayers and words of encouragement.
