Dear Friends of Carl,
As some of you may already know, Carl Lamb has been diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. This has been very difficult for him and his family for many months now. Though he has health insurance, the deductible and out-of-pocket expenses are astronomical. On top of the medical bills, since Carl is self-employed, his income from missed work has been dramatically reduced. Additionally, most are not aware that Carl's wife, Brooke has been battling Lyme Disease for over 20 years now.
The good news is that the type of Pancreatic Cancer he has is not extremely aggressive. The typical treatment is removal of the tumor. Unfortunately, the surgical attempt to remove the tumor was unsuccessful and caused additional complications. His only other treatment option is a monthly injection with a hefty price tag which he has already started. At this time, there are no guarantees his insurance will cover it.
Carl has helped so many of us over the years with our aches and pains… hours of muscular therapy and a little talk therapy, too! (ok, a lot of talk therapy!) Now, Carl needs our help… whatever you can do to help - financially, prayers, or filling his book with appointments - any of these things would be greatly appreciated!
This grassroots effort to help Carl, was not initiated by him, but by clients that over time have turned into friends of Carl’s. He is so appreciative of this gesture, as he knows he needs the help. He is a proud and strong man, who has a strong faith and believes he will beat this. We believe he can, too!
We hope you will find it in your hearts to help relieve some of the mounting financial burden Carl is facing from last year and continuing into this new year. He may then focus all of his energy on healing himself and others.
