Carla Jackson

Hi, my name is Julie, and we are raising money for Carla and Darryl Jackson. Carla has been a 911 dispatcher for the City of Winston-Salem for over 20 years. Her husband of 34 years was diagnosed with stage 4 Liver and Pancreatic cancer this summer. They started their journey with the cancer center in Atlanta, but it became too arduous for Darryl to make that trip after the second treatment due to hemorrhaging complications. Changing doctors and treatment plans mid stream slowed their progress, but they are confident they will beat cancer. Darryl and Carla have exhausted their paid time off and short-term disability payments. Carla has returned to work in the dispatch center but has to take time off to care for Darryl during the chemo treatments and the subsequent medical complications he continues to endure. Darryl and Carla are both fighters and have an abiding faith that God is watching over them.

We are trying to raise enough money for them so they can focus on recovery and not the money to cover medical bills and living expenses.
