Help Carla Reed beat cancer

Donation protected
Hi we are Jodi George and Jenny Kroska, long time friends of Carla's. We are lifting her up in prayer and positive energy. We know her journey will be long and tough so we would like to help and know you would too. We have set up this crowd funding link directly to Carla and Butch. Here is her story:

"Earlier this year, I found a lump in my pelvic area, and in early March I had it removed.
Pathology came in saying there was cancer, so I had a PET SCAN in mid-March. It only lit up at the surgical site - which may or may not have been cancer leftover.
No other areas were showing anywhere.
I was then referred to Mayo clinic for a surgical consult, in April, about removing more margins around the previous tumor/lump, and to remove the closest lymph nodes to see if it spread.
I had that double surgery done at the end of June, and there was no cancer left in the original area, so they didn't have to take as much margin around it as they thought.
However, they found cancer in my 1st node, so they took 4 more and found none in those. The extra node removal created about a 3-4" incision.
The exact type of cancer is Squamous Cell Carcinoma.
The Mayo tumor board reviews each case all the way back from the beginning. They set up consults with a Medical Oncologist and a Radiation Oncologist. Since Mayo is so far away, my OBGYN had these consults set up with both at the cancer center in Grand Forks.
They reviewed everything and agreed with all of Mayo's notes and findings - and then explained it all to us.
In early August I'll have a recheck of my surgical spots, and if they are healed, they'll start the chemo and radiation mid-August for 6 weeks. The effects of both will actually peak 1-1.5 weeks after my treatments end.
This aggressive treatment is recommended, as it is an aggressive cancer, especially since it had spread to the nodes in only 3 months.
They can't say for sure that I have any left or not, but we can't risk doing nothing, as this could easily and quickly spread to other nodes and other areas/organs.
We'll be staying in GF during the week, just a couple blocks from the cancer center, and coming home for the weekends.
Travel already is painful and uncomfortable since surgery, and that will likely continue or get worse with these treatments."

Please give what you can and if you are not comfortable donating on this platform, GoFundMe has a way for you to leave a message for me. I will check for messages daily.

Please check back for updates from Carla throughout her 6 weeks of treatment.
