Carleigh and Jeff Brunker

Carleigh, Jeff, and Scarlett (2yo) moved to Nashville from Oklahoma in the summer of 2022 and Carleigh began teaching 2nd grade at Lipscomb Academy. My daughter is in Carleigh's class and she is an amazing teacher and demonstrates God's love to her students every single day. She is adored by all her students and colleagues at Lipscomb.

Jeff was recently diagnosed with stage 4 Astrocytoma Glioblastoma, an aggressive brain tumor. Carleigh, Jeff, and Scarlett have a very difficult road ahead, but they are remaining hopeful and ultimately know that God is in control. Their faith and courage are such a testimony to all of us who are around them.

Jeff had surgery to try to remove the tumor and has started radiation and chemotherapy. Unfortunately, Jeff is still having many challenges and setbacks due to the aggressive nature and growth of the tumor. Jeff is not able to work or drive and needs continual care and medical attention - all contributing to a financial burden that Carleigh's teaching salary cannot cover.

This fundraiser is being set up by several parents from Carleigh's class and all the funds raised will go directly to Carleigh and Jeff for medical and other financial burdens. Any amount is so appreciated!
