Carlingford high boy killed in car accident

Hi my name is Peggy. My daughter is studying in the same high school as this boy named Calvin Wijeweera who was killed in the recent horrible car crash at the Carlingford Court happened few days ago. I feel deeply upset for the family and really want to give the family a helping hand. We feel deeply sorry for what happened to the tragedy. We hope that the money raised can help with the funeral expenses of the boy.

Please note that even though my girl is in the same school, they don't know each other. I don't know the boy and the family too. But I do have friends whose daughter knows the boy. So for any details of the boy, please understand that the information is only read or copied from the news, not my personal interaction with the boy nor the family.

Some people asked me why we don't just give flowers. Yes you can. It's just personal preference. I just thought giving the family monetary support would be able to take away extra burden on the family, as living cost is rising so much this year.

The beneficiary of the donation will go directly to Calvin parents's bank account. In the meantime, I can't be able to have direct contact with them. Please understand that the parents are very distressed now and it may take a while to follow up. If you do not feel comfortable, please do not make the donation.

Still, I will try my best to update all of you of the progress as one of my responsibility.
