Let's wrap up teacher appreciation week by showing our gratitude to the Carlmont teaching staff.
Please consider donating $10, $25, $50, $75, $100, $150 or any amount you feel comfortable giving! Every little bit helps.
We have 108 teachers at Carlmont and 93 of them have already chosen a local restaurant for their gift card. They feel the support of our community and are so thankful for this effort!
Our Carlmont teachers worked hard this year, and especially this semester. Adjusting to remote learning hasn't been easy for any of us, and our Carlmont teachers are no exception. Let's show them how much we care about them.
We're raising funds from you, our Carlmont community, to buy local restaurant gift cards for our teachers. We've already asked them to select their favorite local restaurant where they love to eat so we can personalize their gift! Your donation shows appreciation for our educators and simultaneously supports our local businesses hard-hit by shelter-in-place orders. When do you get to donate money and have it benefit two well-deserving groups in the community at once?
Our amazing friends at Vivace Ristorante in Belmont have generously donated to our schools over the years, and right now is no exception. As one of the local restaurants our teachers can select a gift card from, they have offered to match our gift card donation amounts 100% when a teacher chooses their restaurant for their teacher appreciation gift. This means if we raise $50 per teacher, the teacher will get a $100 gift card from Vivace, or a $50 gift card from any other local restaurant we're providing as an option.
Please donate by Sunday, May 17 to show our teachers some community love. We'll be purchasing the gift cards from what we raised here and distributing them by the end of May.
Also feel free to leave comments on this page for the teaching staff and we'll make sure they get those too!
