Carlo Joseph Page - Funeral Expenses

My name is Heather Bonafe.

My siblings Michelle, Amanda, Christopher, Stephanie, and I have just lost our father to Peritoneal Mesothelioma. I am fundraising to pay for his funeral and cremation.

Our Father, Carlo Joseph Page was born on April 27, 1960. He was a native of Sheepshead Bay Brooklyn, a place he adored and was proud to call home for many years. He was a roofer by trade, a job he loved, but his true love was sitting behind a drum set. Never was he more in his element than when he was there. He had a passion for music, the louder the better and frequented many recording studios throughout Brooklyn. He was the eldest of 5 children, a father of 5 and Grandfather of 16 who loved his family, friends and animals dearly,

He moved to Arizona in 2006 and was diagnosed in 2017. He underwent surgery and took medication to stop the spreading of the cancer and put himself into remission. His road to recovery was long and painful but he eventually got there. Recently, in October of 2024 he returned to New York to live with me. He had lost a lot of weight and was generally unwell. We went to see doctors and did all of the necessary tests, but he became seriously ill at the beginning of December and was admitted to the hospital.

It was determined that his cancer had come back with a vengeance and was progressing faster than anyone could have expected. He was transferred to Hospice House where unfortunately his health started to rapidly decline. As was his nature, he fought tooth and nail until the very end.

With his children around him he passed away on January 3, 2025.

Sadly, no provisions were made for his funeral arrangements as it was all so fast and so unexpected. We are asking for your help so that we can give him the send off he deserves after so much indignity and suffering.
