Carlos C Garcia Jr

 Hello my name is Katherine I am fundraising to lay my son Carlos C. Garcia Jr. to rest. June 3rd 2023 someone made a report of a body in the Truckee River in Sparks, NV to the Sparks Police Department. June 20th 2023 I was notified that his body was found beyond recognition besides a tattoo and a scar that the morge was only able to discover on his body at the time. Nobody nor authorities were able to detect how long he was in the water and before he was officially identified as my son I had to wait at least 2 1/2 months hoping and praying it wasn't really him. Unfortunately, a DNA test later confirmed that it was indeed him. Everything happened so sudden and tragic, but what really hurts is the fact that no one knows what happened to him or how he got in the river. 

 Carlos was a kind hearted person, he gave friends and family all he could, and when he had the chance he enjoyed basketball and playing with his nephews. Most of all, he liked to cook and eat. All though you left us too soon you will always be in our hearts. In the blink of an eye everything can change. So forgive often and love with all your heart, take no one for granted for you never know what may happen tomorrow.
