My name is Carlos, and I am an international student from Ecuador. I am currently studying at Fanshawe College in Canada, where I am pursuing a degree in Interactive Media Design and Production.

Hola, mi nombre es Carlos, y soy un estudiante internacional proveniente de Ecuador. Actualmente, estoy cursando un programa de Diseño y Producción de Medios Interactivos en Fanshawe College, Canadá.

I come from a humble background, and I have always dreamed of having the opportunity to study abroad. I believe education is the key to a better future, and I am determined to make the most of this opportunity.

Vengo de un entorno humilde y siempre he soñado con estudiar en el extranjero. Considero que la educación es la clave para un mejor futuro, y estoy decidido a aprovechar al máximo esta oportunidad.

My Story / Mi sueño de estudiar en Canadá:

I came to Canada to pursue a better life for myself and my family. Ecuador is currently facing many economic and social challenges, and I knew that I would have better opportunities in Canada.

Vine a Canadá en busca de una vida mejor para mí y mi familia. Ecuador atraviesa actualmente por grandes desafíos económicos y sociales, y sabía que aquí tendría mejores oportunidades.

I saved up for 4 years to afford to come to Canada, and I finally made my dream a reality last year. I am so grateful for the opportunity to be here, and I am working hard to succeed in my studies.

Durante 4 años ahorré para poder costear mi viaje a Canadá, y finalmente pude cumplir mi sueño el año pasado. Estoy profundamente agradecido por la oportunidad de estar aquí y me esfuerzo por tener éxito en mis estudios.

The Challenge / Un desafío inesperado:

Unfortunately, I have been facing some unexpected financial challenges since I arrived in Canada. The cost of living is higher than I expected, and I have had to pay more for tuition than I originally planned.

Desafortunadamente, desde que llegué a Canadá, he enfrentado dificultades financieras imprevistas. El costo de vida es más alto de lo que esperaba, y la matrícula universitaria ha resultado ser más costosa de lo planificado originalmente.

As a result, I am running out of money. My wife and I are working on temporary positions to help cover our expenses, but it is not enough. If We do not find a way to raise more money, I will be forced to drop out of school and return to Ecuador.

Como consecuencia, me estoy quedando sin recursos. Mi esposa y yo trabajamos en empleos temporales para cubrir nuestros gastos, pero no es suficiente. Si no encontramos la manera de recaudar más dinero, me veré obligado a abandonar mis estudios y regresar a Ecuador.

The Impact / El impacto de mi educación:

If I finish my studies, I can get a good job and build a better future for myself and my family. I will be able to help my parents financially, and I will be able to contribute to the development of my country.

Si logro terminar mis estudios, podré conseguir un buen trabajo y construir un mejor futuro para mí y mi familia. Podré ayudar económicamente a mis padres y contribuir al desarrollo de mi país.

How the Funds Will Be Used / Uso de los fondos recaudados:

The funds raised will cover part of my tuition, rent, food, and other living expenses until We find a permanent job. I will withdraw the funds directly to my personal bank account and use them to pay for my expenses as needed.

Los fondos recaudados se destinarán a cubrir parte de mi matrícula, alquiler, alimentos y otros gastos de subsistencia hasta que encontremos un trabajo permanente. Retiraré los fondos directamente a mi cuenta bancaria personal y los utilizaré para cubrir mis gastos según sea necesario.
