Carlos Colon Funeral Expenses

Hello Family and Friends,

Our father Carlos Colon passed away on May 17, 2021 to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in heaven.
He became ill on April 6th and was put on a ventilator. After a long month, he was able to recover from covid.

The first 2 weeks into May, his lungs still suffered. He had built up fluid from pneumonia and it did not want to clear up with all of the medications and treatments.

I saw my father lose a lot of weight. His body began to change. He was suffering and did not want to continue to suffer.
In my last moments with him, I asked him if he thought he was going to get better and his response was, “No”.

I held his hand and reminded him of the unfailing/ unconditional love of Jesus Christ.

I reminded him to repent of every sin, every imperfection, and fault.

He wasn’t able to speak, but he understood and nodded his head yes and he spoke to our King Jesus with his heart.

For man looks at the outer appearance, but Jesus looks at the heart. 

He was an imperfect man created and loved by a perfect God. 

God gave my dad 75 years on this earth to witness the miracle of healing him from Lupus in the early 2000’s. To seeing his oldest son Carlitos in 2011 be saved and taken to be with Jesus.  Meeting 6 of his grandchildren that ask for him everyday, “When is Welo coming back home?” 

We are asking everyone out of the generosity of their hearts to donate to help for funeral and burial expenses. 

We appreciate every person that has prayed for our family, called us, and loved on us in this difficult time.

We will truly miss him.
