CARLOS CUETO

On Saturday September 9th of 2023 Carlos Cueto passed away after 4 years of battling cancer. He is survived by his two daughters. Isabel, 24 years old, graduate from Depaul University. She left her job and went to live with her dad over a year ago to aid and support him through this difficult process. Mari, 18 years old, graduated from high school and also went to stay with her dad this summer. She was just getting ready to start college in California.

Many of us who knew Carlos, can testify he was a loving father, an awesome chef, an engineer, a knowledgeable pilot, a mechanic, a handyman and a loyal friend… He wore many hats and that is why it is so hard to describe him in a few words. He was always ready to lend a hand, have a conversation, cook delicious food,  share an IPA or quality tequila, listen and talk about music, give you his best advice and together create memorable times…

This fundraiser is to help his beautiful girls with the financial burdens of this hardship. He took his last flight way too early, he will be truly missed but cherished in our minds and hearts…
