As the world sits amid a Global Pandemic, I think everyone reading this has had someone affected by this Virus. Covid-19 has hit one of our own, Carlos Garcia. Carlos was admitted to the hospital on July 24th and has not fared well. He was put on a ventilator and moved to ICU on July 31 at a local Katy hospital. He has had a few good days since and has responded well to the ventilator, but he still has a fight ahead of him.
Carlos has been married to his wife Angie for 26 years and she is not allowed to be by her husband’s side while he fights this. Carlos and Angie have raised four children together and they also cannot be by his side when he needs them the most. Carlos is also expecting his first grandchild this month. He loves and cares for his family and has been a great Patriarch of the Garcia family.
Carlos has worked as an Instrument & Electrical Specialists for more than 25 years, and 6 of those with our GIS Family. The medical bills will be enormous for this hospital stay, especially since being put into the ICU unit. We are kindly asking for any donations to help mitigate these large medical bills that our friend, our co-worker, a great father, and a great husband will obviously need help with. Any donation, small or large will be greatly appreciated.
