Laying Carlos N. Bowie to Rest

Hi, my name is Mindy and I am Carlos Bowie’s granddaughter. As most of you may know, Carlos recently lost his battle with cancer. If you knew Carlos, you know that he never complained! It’s likely that you didn’t even know the battle he was fighting.

At the urging of his Southern Tire Mart Family, we are setting up a GoFundMe to cover the last of Carlos’s funeral expenses.

Carlos had an amazing career in commercial tire sales. He worked with Walker Tire for 32 years before Walker was sold. He then began his journey with GCR now known as Southern Tire Mart for his final 9 years before retirement.

He was blessed with lots of long lasting clientele and was always happy to hear from his beloved customers.

Carlos dedicated his life to his family and his career. Always putting his family and customers first.

Unfortunately, Carlos’s health forced him into retirement in April 2023.

Due to the sudden onset of his death, we are asking for donations to properly lay him to rest. Giving Carlos the burial he deserves.
