Carlos Sweeney’s Memorial Services
As many of you already know or have heard, our beloved friend, team mate and brother Alex “BEBE” Sanchez has endured a loss.
His son Carlos Sweeney, has passed in the most tragic way possible. Carlos, who had recently moved to California to pursue his life long dream of becoming a hip hop artist, had his life taken from him while visiting his girlfriend’s family in Tennessee.
Bebe and the family find themselves in a situation and in a place that we all hope to never find ourselves in, which is the burden of having to plan our own child’s funeral services. Bebe now has to arrange the transportation of Carlos’ body from Tennessee to Miami, where he will be laid to rest, in his hometown, and close to his friends and family.
This is not an easy burden to carry and it does come with some financial responsibilities that unfortunately the family was not anticipating to have - and at a time where truly no one is prepared for it.
Any contribution you can make, in any amount, will be greatly appreciated. I hope we can all say and prove that life is definitely bigger than softball, as no man or woman should ever have to bury their own child. We love you bebe. And we truly are all here for you….
