Carlito's Recovery Fund

Please help us raise money to help Carlos Vega Ghia. Carlitos is a very sweet boy that is passionate about soccer, video games, reading and playing the bass with the Faubion Middle School Honors Orchestra (First Chair). He is loved by family, parents, three siblings, and friends.
 
Carlitos is currently in the Medical City Childrens hospital in Dallas, TX.
Carlitos was suffering from major headaches, which were diagnosed as migraines by Cat Scan and MRI tests results were inconclusive, and he was scheduled for additional medical tests in early December.  On November 19th, after experiencing severe head pain, he was found unconscious on the bathroom floor, and was rushed to the Medical Center of McKinney, from there, he had to be rushed via air transport to Medical City Children’s Hospital. 
 
At Medical City Children’s Hospital, it was found that he had an aneurysm that exploded in his brain and caused multiple seizures. This caused blood on his brain and extreme pressure as well.  He was intervened to release the pressure on his brain, and drains were placed to relieve the pressure to his brain.
 
Due to the trauma, he has been in a comma since the first day, and is under multiple supportive medicines to attempt to preserve a balance of his organs.
He has been declared to be in critical condition.
 
We ask for your prayers and financial support to help the family cover medical, and essential needs to get through this disastrous event.
 

******UPDATE*****

This past Friday night, we gently said goodnight to our precious baby boy Carlitos for the last time. We are deeply saddened  by Carlitos departure, and will always live in our happy memories for eternity. During his last few days we knew three things, he could hear us even though he was in a comma, he did not suffer and he fought his hardest to stay with us!!!

We will celebrate him for the rest of our lives.  On behalf of the whole Ghia, Vega, Begell and Mandrones Family, Thank You for your prayers, support and love as we face the hardest situation in our entire lives. Memorial services to celebrate his life will be arranged in the coming weeks.

Remember to hold your little ones in your arms. Remind them that they are loved unconditionally and that you will always protect them until the end.
