Our Story:

Carlow Hockey Club has been a beacon of success in Carlow sports since the 1890s, thriving in recent years despite the absence of dedicated facilities. With over 200 members, including two adult teams and six underage teams travelling outside our county for games, we've become a force to be reckoned with in Leinster Leagues and Cup competitions. Our success isn't just about trophies; it's about nurturing a love for the game in children and teenagers.

The Vision:

Six years ago, we faced the challenge of struggling to field one adult team. Fast forward to today, and we're ready to make history. In collaboration with St Leo's College, we've embarked on Phase 1 of a ground-breaking development project—a fully floodlit, all-weather hockey pitch that will become our home. This is more than just a pitch; it's a space to grow, learn, and foster a love for hockey in the heart of Carlow.

While grant aid and fundraising have been instrumental, the scale of our vision requires additional support. We turn to our community, our backbone, for help. Your donation will fuel the transformation by completing floodlighting and allowing us to move into Phase 2 with dressing rooms and additional smaller multisport pitches.
