Carlsbad Cares Animal Rescue and Sanctuary

Hi! It’s almost my birthday and as I do every year, I’d like to raise funds for our little sanctuary and rescue that my friend Tammy Morgan and I run.

We’ve been busy as ever this year helping lots of animals.

Very soon we hope to be a full on nonprofit.

We are now over about sixty kitties that we tend to in our feral colonies. We’ve gotten our kitties spayed and neutered, and we feed them well daily.

We have eighteen indoor rescue kitties that we love so much.

Our little Hobby has developed crystals and has to eat very expensive food for the rest of his life. We are happy that he’s doing very well now.

Little Jakie, who turned out to be a girl and is now named Precious, is our latest bottle baby to join our flock. She was the only one of five tiny babies to make it. We fed her around the clock and worked with our vet to get her on the right path to health. She’s now a very spoiled and happy baby living a well-loved life.

We’ve fostered many cats, kittens, and dogs this year too, working with our local shelter.

Right now, we are in the process of taming five sweet but feisty kitties who will get wonderful homes through programs at Noah’s Ark, our shelter, once they are tame.

Our flock of rescue chickens, led by Bruno our rooster, was joined by a flock of chatty and very spoiled ducks. Currently, we are looking for a few female ducks to keep our male mallards company.

Our latest little girl duck came to us after a hawk attack. We got her meds and are nursing her back to health.

Our resident rescue sweet dogs, Missy and Daisy, are doing well, but our adorable senior Missy is in need of treatments for growths on her belly.

We have really grown in the last year.

As you know, costs of everything have gone up. We would be so grateful for anything you might like to give to us for food and medical. No amount is too small.

We love you all so much and appreciate your love and support, and so do our fur and feathered babies. ❤️
