Carlus Smith, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, passed away today, September 8, 2021. Carlus was diagnosed with Covid in August and admitted to the hospital on August 27. He and his wife, Jen, are active members in our community most known from Crows’s Burgers in Temple/Belton and Park Street Burgers in Gatesville. They were active members of Bethel Church and loved to serve the Lord. Carlus had never met a stranger, as his smile was infectious. Carlus was a true family man. He leaves behind his wife of 20 years in love, 6 children, and 7 grand children. As small business owners, unable to work after the diagnosis, and later hospitalization, we are asking for any help that you may be able to give to our family during this time of need, along with your prayers.
